  1. There's not in the wide world a village so sweet
As that called cloneen where the bright boys all meet
Where we laugh and we gamble the long hours away
And return to our homes at the close of the day.
"Try and see Paddy Murphy + tell him we're here.
Just arrived from the races + all in good cheer
Bring a ton of fish with you _ it wont go astray
Oh Bejasus! he'll come - for he never said nay"
As we enter our santuar 'tis fixed that no power
Of persuasion can keep us beyong one half hour_
But one round las! for "Nap" with the king card on top
Keeps us on till our watches conveniently stop
