    hour. The place is still known as Carbery's Stump and 'tis beside the church (ruin of Caherass) There was grand carving in the church. There was a song made about it - the incident not the church and it begins this way:-
    In the courts of Caherass, there lived a fair lady,
    A pearl of beauty and a jewel named Katie
    (Ni fhéadas an cuid eile d'en amhrán a bhailiú uaithi. bhí sé caillte aicí.)
