  1. There are two holy wells in my parish. One is in Charity-Field in Curragh Bridge, and the other is in the square-field Stonehall. The one which is in Curragh Bridghe was not always in the same place because once a woman went to wash bags in the well and it was removed from into the charity - field. The next day she went to get water, but to her surprise there was no well there, but the remains to the dirty bags. She continued down the field and she heard a voice
