  1. In former times poets were scarce in this district. Between Dungourney and Mogeely a poet lives.
    His name is Mr Jacky Burke. He composed a song in Irish named "Cailín Deas Crúidhte na mBó". Himself and Jacky Murphy had a fight over a song. The next day they found Jacky Burke dead in his bed.
