  1. About twenty five years ago we had a great storm. During that year we got a few calm weeks in succession.
Mr Desmond of Curraghiseal said he would draw in his corn. He drew it in and he said it was to be threshed after a few days. This same man was living up in the hills. On the following morning when he woke he found that all his corn had been blown down into his bogs.
