    had no fowl to kill so she killed the cat. The next year she had great wealth and plenty of fowl. But she thought she would have more luck by killing a cat again. So she killed another cat, and the next year she was as poor as ever again.
    It is thought by old people that St. Martin was killed in a mill and on that day no one would dream of opening a mill.
