  1. At one time a man named Jack Byrne lived in a little house at the Barrow. He had no way of living only with two goats. He had no way of feeding the goats only what he would steal around the country. He used never go to steal in the day. When the night would come he would go off.
    One night as an old traveller was passing by the graveyard in Ullard. He looked in over the ditch and said it would be a suitable place to sleep for the night. He went in
