  1. There is a well in the County Wicklow called St. Kevin's Well. The people respected it very much and never put anything in the water that would soil it. There lived a certain Protestant woman near this well and she said she would wash coal sacks in it.
    Se brought a bundle of coal sacks with her and washed them in the well. She went home and came back with another bundle of sacks. In the meantime a certain thing happened. The well shifted from the original position to about half a mile away. When the woman came with the sacks there was no well in the place. After that she became a devout catholic.
