  1. The was once a man named Freyney. This man had a great dislike for the Landlords and he did all in his power to torment them. One day when Freyney had robbed a Landlord of two hundred pounds he went and hid the treasure on the top of Tory Hill and beside it he placed his sword firmly in the ground leaving the top of the sword overground. The robber told this secret to one man who often searched for the gold after-wards but could never find where the top of the sword was hidden. Some time after this there were a number of horsemen hunting on the hill and among them was the man to whom Freyney had
