    The women then laid down the law
    They said poor wheet looked dull
    There was emptiness along her craw
    In her leg an awkward pull
    A hurried chat, - the decision came
    The ancient duck to part
    The bargain's made - but what a flame
    The news brought to the heart,
    Of him that loved the duck so well
    And now must bear the pain
    But women's bargains - nymphs of hell!
    In historic Carn Lane.
    The Bard of Carn now is sad
    His pen no more he'll wield
    His witty prose is heard no more
    Nor his laughter in the field.
    What think ye of a jolly spree
    With lots of fun & mountain dew?
