- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)The women then laid down the law
They said poor wheet looked dull
There was emptiness along her craw
In her leg an awkward pullA hurried chat, - the decision came
The ancient duck to part
The bargain's made - but what a flame
The news brought to the heart,Of him that loved the duck so well
And now must bear the pain
But women's bargains - nymphs of hell!
In historic Carn Lane. The Bard of Carn now is sad
His pen no more he'll wield
His witty prose is heard no more
Nor his laughter in the field. What think ye of a jolly spree
With lots of fun & mountain dew?
