  2. There was a man named Flanigan drowned in Tonagh bog seventy years ago. That morning he went out of the house and did not come back. Near dinner time his father went out to look for him. He saw his tracks down to the bog. He went then and got some neighbours to help him to take the man out. They took him out but he was dead.
    About twenty years ago there was a very bad sickness in this district. It
