Most of the houses are slated. They were all thatched at one time. Hugh McGlone was the thatcher in this district. He lives in Aghclay. They used a latter, a stappler and a knife. The walls of the houses are stone. They remember no Irish words. Houses were more plentiful long ago. There are five houses in ruins. The people of them are all dead.
