[?]en were posted at each approach to the village, and no cattle or sheep or goats were allowed out of the Fair with-out 6 per head being paid on any animals sold.
In former times were were twelve fairs held in Blennerville, and these days were held like holidays in the surrounding district.
Most of the bargains in buying and selling were made in Public house, and Ballad Singers, and Orange Sellers did a roaring trade.
At that time there were seven Public House in Blennville the school boys damaged "a fairings" from every one in the fair, and they(continues on next page)
