    main road going to Sligo.
    There is a very old road leading to Temple More grave-yard and long ago there was a large swamp in the middle of it so that is was (able) very hard to carry a coffin through it. it is called the Green Road because it is over grown with grass. it is now repaired and it joins the Carrow-Reagh road near the grave-yard.

  2. There is an old road leading from Sligo to Dublin which is called the Mail Coach Road. In olden times before cars and lorries were to be had the people always travelled by a Coach and
