  1. Our Games
    The games I play are :- Hide and go seek, Dallóg, Rúscaí and Racaí, Horns, horns, cow's horns, Dan, Dan, thread the needle. Dan, Dan, sew, Fox and geese, The good and bad Angels, Button, Fool in the middle, The Fox in the den, High windows, Skipping, and making chops.
    Dallóg is played by putting a cloth round a person's eyes and he runs after the others and whoever is caught will put the cloth on next.
    To play "Dan Dan thread the needle" is two children hold their hands up and the rest go out under them and the last one is stopped and asked which would he rather an apple or an orange and so on with the rest until the end and then the tug of war begins.
    I play "fox and geese" by making a big square with sticks and someone goes in and closes his eyes. He is the fox and the others hide. After a while the fox jumps out and finds them. Whoever he catches the fox next.
    We play "Rúscaí and Racaí" by making
