    to be under a blackthorn bush. He told his neighbours about his dream so they encouraged him to go and they said they would go with him. They went and examined the fort and they discovered that the bush he had dreamt of was there. The neighbours then believed that there was something in the dream and thought that perhaps if they could find this treasure they would be rich. All the men came together and appointed a night to go to the fort. Some were to bring picks, shovels, and bog deal to use as torches. Others were to bring bags to carry the treasure home. At last on the night appointed to go, all those, who had promised to go withdraw with the exception of seven or eight and they set out with the man who had
