  1. At one time there lived a widow and her son and he was a fool.
    One day his mother sent him with a piece of flannel to the weaver to spin it.
    On his way home he saw a lot of stones in a field and he said one of them was his father.
    He raised up one of stones and he found a crock of gold under the stone.
    He put a piece of flannel round the stone and he took the gold home to his mother. She put the gold into a
