    Tailors in olden days went from house to house to make the clothes for the people.

    Tailors in olden days went from house to house to make the clothes for the people. They had no machines they had to make the clothes with the hand.
    They worked very cheap 3s or 4s to make a suit of clothes. A tailor lived in this district long ago and he used to make a suit of clothes in a day from 9 o'clock in the morning to 4 o'clock in the evening.
