- There was an old man by the name of William O'Connor nicknamed Billeen Jacko living in Hearthill.
He was an old shoemaker and one day he was coming from Ballyduff. He came through the fields at the back of the village and as he was going along a hare popped out of the ditch. He tried to catch the hare and he thought of the ball of wax and he threw it at the hare.
