    People bring water from Lough Caoc(?) with which to cure this disease on Mondays and on Thursdays.
    Jaundice
    Terence McNamee cures jaundice on Tuesdays and on Thursdays.
    Flitting days
    Mondays and Wednesdays are regarded very good days for changing from one house to another. Saturday is said to be a most unlucky day It is said that Saturday's flitting makes a bad sitting.
    Days for beginning work.
    People do not begin work on Monday or Saturday as they think these unlucky days Tuesdays and Fridays are very lucky days on which to begin ploughing or such farm work.
