- Mary Ann Carrens from Annaghkeenty made dolls from turnips and from potatoes. First she cut out the head and painted it, then she made the body. Sometimes she sold these dolls.
- Pat Carroll also from Annaghkeenty made Sugán chairs He made the frame from wood and the seat from hemp rope.
- Boys long ago, made flutes from Fuaráns which they got growing alongside drains or rivers. They cut a piece of Fuarán about one foot and half in length. They put the holes in with a hot iron.
