    For a stye is a thorn of a gooseberry bush and to stick it in the the stye.
    For Mumps is to rub your face where you saw a cow rubbing himself against.
    Cure for a sore throat is to boil nettles and the water that would be with it to drink it.
    The cure for a toothache is to tie a piece of string around your toe and the people say it would cure it.
