- The old people have many old customs for sowing crops and other things.
They say that it is unlucky to sow crops on the first Saturday's of the month and on the first day of May.
They say the days that are lucky to sow crops are on Good Friday and also the Fridays in March and April.
It is very unlucky to bring furniture from one house to another or to go and live in a house on a Saturday or during the month of February.
The days that are unlucky to bring a horse out ploughing is on St. Stephin's Day. It is not right to go out working from Christmas Day to the twelfth day.
It is also said that it is not right to go visiting to a neighbour's house on Christmas(continues on next page)- Collector
