Burns: Seal oil or flour put on the burn - At the time of the Penal Laws there were two priests walking along the Connemara road. There was a man in front of them and he had a new coat and he turned it inside out. The priests asked the man why he did that because it looked nicer the out-side. The man told them that he thought they were Land-Lords that were coming and that they would raise the rent if they saw a new coat on him.
