  1. A man named Cat Foley went out one moon-lit night to a dance. He lived in the townland of Lisgorman and in the parish Dromahair. When he was coming back through a field he saw a ghost at a stile. He hit the ghost on the head with a stone and killed him. He went out the very next day to see was the ghost there and he found that it was his own ass that he had killed.
