the top of Benbo and it is called "Tahys" Monument. There is another huge stone on O'Donnell's rock about half the size of the one that was thrown from Benbo. It is said that the giant had this stone as a toy for for playing with in their games.

Hundreds of years ago there was an old hag living at the foot of Benbo. She earned her living by going around footing turf or the people of this district. She carried with her a small black thorn stick. When she went to foot the turf she used to them with the stick and say "two and two together and one on the top". Then the footing was made.
