- (continued from previous page)He got very frightened and ran away but he could not get out so travelled through the fort the whole night. In the latter end, becoming very tired he sat down and fell asleep. When he awoke in the morning he found himself sitting on a stone in the fort.
- Fairy FortsIn the townland of Lisgorman their is a fairy fort and it is called the round fort. There are two forts in view of it one in the townland of Darkvalley and the other in the townland of Kilkossey. Each fat is circular in shape and is surrounded by a ring of stones and hazel trees.There is an entrance hole in each of these forts. It was here(continues on next page)
