    They told him it was fitter for him to go home and stop his parents from fighting. When he heard these words he stood up and said that would never be said to him again. Very early next morning he parceled his clothes and went journeying through the country. He walked for a day and a night. Soon he came to a farmers cottage where he got lodging for the night. When he was going in the morning the farmer said he would give him work. The farmer had three sons the oldest being a priest while the other two were in collage. When they came home on holidays they asked if the boy would become a priest also. he said he would dif he got permission to go to his native home when he would be ordained. When he was a priest he went to his own him but could not find his parents. At last someone told him that his father was dead and that his mother was living in the bog. As he was rambling through the bog one day in search of her he came upon an old hut where he found her. he was appointed parish priest. He built a little house where his mother heard Mass every morning. Soon after she died and at her wake was a large attendance. At midnight
