- In Lower Polredmond there was a burning also. Jack Roche was the owner of the house. The woman went up in the loft with a lighted candlestick. The roof of the loft took fire and the house was burned to the ground.

- Tom Streaches house in Farm which is in Farm district was burned by a fire. There were two cows tied in the kitchen and the the fire was in the room where they had straw. The straw took fire and a man burst in the door and let out the cattle. They quenched the fire as best they could.(continues on next page)
