- We have a churn at home and it is round. It is worked by a churn dash. It is about a foot and a half on top and it is about two feet on the bottom.
- In Beaugh there is a fort situated in the middle of a field. It is a very big fort. There is a cave in the middle of it. Long ago when the Rebellion was in Ireland some of the true patriot men sheltered nights and slept there to hide from the people who wanted to catch them.
