Honeymoon before settling down. "Straw-boys" used to visit the houses up to a few years ago. They were dressed in straw ropes from the tops of their heads to the soles of their feet. They had a can with a slit in the lid for collecting money.
The bride does not visit her home until a month after the marriage, then there is a party given. This is called "the hauling home" or "Monthly Visit".
