  1. True Story

There was a man from Ballynakilly going to a fair on a May morning. He saw an old woman with a hair rope sweeping the dew.

There was a man from Ballynakilly going to a fair on a May morning. He saw an old woman with a hair rope sweeping the dew.
She was saying, "come all to me, come all to me." The man said, "come half to me." "So be it," said the old woman.
The next day the man's wife was churning. She asked him did he put anything in the churn. When the churning was done, the churn was full of butter and all the vessels in the house were full too. He had to go to the priest to get rid of it.
