    Nuair a bhí bróg agus stoca amhain air tháinic fear fhad leis agus dinnis sé dó go rabh an namhaid ag teacht. Le sin thoisigh sé ag reathaigh agus nuair a d'amharc sé ní rabh ach bróg agus stoca air.
    Sheasaigh sé annsin agus thug sé a mhallacht ar duine ar bith a cuireadh bróga ar fhéin sul a gcuirfeadh sé na stocaí air, ar thus. An t-ainm atá ar an mallacht seo iseadh "Mallacht Colmcille".
