    Riddles, Collection No. 2
    One hundred sheep went out a gap. One hundred more followed that. The shepherd and his dog. How many feet were in all that? Two feet.
    I went up the road and I came down the road and brought the road on my back? A ladder.
    Two saw it. Five took it. Twelve chewed it and one swallowed it? An apple.
    I went up the road and I met my Aunt. She had one nose and silver fingers and she would hunt the crow out of the fields. A gun.
    If I was in sun instead of U what would sun be?

    Maggie Conway, Crumlin got these riddles from her father Edward Conway. He got them from his father who died fifteen years ago, age eighty years when he died.
