    shoeings on wheels of carts. He dosn't make any farm implements but he fixes them. He shoes wheels of carts in the open air.
    The smiths in the district never have any privileges at any time. The people do not give them any gifts. They have no special power. They are looked upon as being very strong men because when they shoe a wild horse, people think then, they are very strong.
    The forge is a centre for story telling because so many going to the forge have a different story to tell the "smith". The Proverb of the "smith" is "frost and rain and frost again".
    Some "smiths" have a horse shoe on the door, and others have the track burned on it to bring luck on the forge. I never heard of the blacksmith making pikes in this district.
    Terence Smith had his forge beside my house, and then he moved to a house beside the nurses and to the house where he is presently living in Aghadreena.
