The most harmful weeds growing in our farm are the 'thistle', 'buchalan', and 'whin'. The 'thistle' spreads and destroys crops.
The 'buchalan', spreads through grass and hay and leaves it hard to cut.
The 'whin' spreads very quickly and ruins fields for ever, unless cut when it is young.
Certain herbs are used as cures, in the following ways-
'Slanlus' is used to cure a cut by chewing it and putting it on the cut.
'Plantation leaves' are used for boils, by roasting the leaf on a coal, and(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
