- Their is a road in my district called by the name of Castlehill road because the townsland of Castlehill is going through it. It is not known who put there or why they were put there It is said that their is no very old road in my district. It is not known if any roads were made for relief during the time of the famine. Long ago their used to be a lot of dancing at cross roads and now a days their dont be many people dancing at cross roads. Their is a mass path going from Kilamoyne to Ileigh and these are the fields that the mass path goes through it goes through a field belonging to Jermiah Darcy and it goes through another field belonging to Thomas Younge and then it goes through a field belonging to Dan Devitt the people do not know of any other mass path being in my district.
