  2. It is said if you steel cream of the milk on the first of May one would have to get up early about seven o'clock in the morning to steel the cream of the milk. It is very unlucky. When anyone is putting down turnips they put them down on a Friday because it is very unlucky and they would grop very quickly, and there is also another special day again for to sow cabbage it is if a Friday.
