    There is one certain day of the week for putting down crops it is if a Friday and the crop would grow very quickly. It is said also when people are leaving a house they generally leave on Friday. They count it very lucky. They throw holy water in a house before they go away. Potatoes it is a good thing to put them down on a Friday, because it is very lucky. Anyone building a house they start if a Monday because it is lucky.

    It is said if you steel cream of the milk on the first of May one would have to get up early about seven o'clock in the morning to steel the cream of the milk. It is very unlucky. When anyone is putting down turnips they put them down on a Friday because it is very unlucky and they would grop very quickly, and there is also another special day again for to sow cabbage it is if a Friday.
