And when everyplace gets black is is said we would have a thunderstorm. And when the soot is falling it is a sign of rain. When the wind is in the North it brings frost and dry weather. When the sheep comes in to the foot[?] of a hill it is a sign of a wind storm, and when the smoke goes up straight it is the sign of fine weather. The West wind brings rain, When the East wind is in a bad point it brings snow,(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
