    Long ago there were not any trains nor motor-cars or buses and when the people wanted to go from place to place they had to walk. The people long ago were not going to the cities and towns as often as the people do now, because they made their own bread and changed the wool into thread and changed the thread into cloth. Long ago the people thought it very hard to get to Mass on a Sunday. The people now don't walk from place to place because we have, trains, buses, and motor-cars.
