  1. Marrigs mostly take place during Shrove and on Shrove Tuesday. May and Agaust are thought unlucky for marriage's and the days that are thought unlucky for marriages are Monday and Friday.
    People make pan-cakes on Shrove night because it is a custom. In this didrect, matches are made in farmhouses on winter nights. Money is given as fortunes, to daughters and sons of rich familys when they are getting married.
