  1. There are many different kinds of churns such as stand churns and small hand churns.
    Before a person makes a churn he has to give the churn a few scaldings and then put in the cream and after a half an hour he or she looks in to see in the churn made. If it is made he gives it two or three washings and then she puts the butter into some vessel.
    Then she scalds the churn again and then the churn is finished.
