  1. There are many superstitions about the days in the week. Some people say that Friday is lucky to go ploughing Monday is lucky to kill pigs. Thursday is the unluckiest day of all. and Wednesday is the luckiest day. Monday is unlucky to go on a journey. Tuesday is a lucky day to try a cure Wednesday is the luckiest day to do anything. Thursday is unlucky to start any kind of work. It is always on Fridays everyone sows their crops. If a person came into a jews shop on Monday and asked for a certain thing and if the price of it was ten shillings the people would give it to you for a third of the value than to let you out without buying it.
