The ruins of Saint Patrick's house which is still there is a short distance from the ruins of the old church. There are also the ruins of an old Round Tower in Aughagower graveyard beside the old church and also near the new church. The Round Tower was built during the time of the Danes which was between the period of seven hundred and ninety five and ten hundred and fourteen. There is a tree beside the castle in Mount Brown where it is supposed that Denis Brown used to hang the priests. There are only the cellars(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
