  1. The palm is brought to the chapel, and it is blessed in the chapel by the priest. Then the priest gives each person bunches of palm to bring home. The people put the palm up in their houses, and they also put some up in the houses for good luck.

  2. Some people and especially children put up a May-bush the last evening in April in honour of Our Blessed Lady. The young children put up a May-bush as they think, that there is a fairy coming to put money or sweets under the bush. This bush consists of a whitethorn or any other kind of bushes. They put the bush in front of the house facing the door. They put the bush standing up with stones around it, and they hang primroses on the branches of the bush. On the morning of the first of May the children are all up out of their beds to see how much money or sweets did they get.
