This little man is about two feet in height. He is also supposed to be dressed in red and green clothes. The following story was told to me by Mr. Byrne of Kilcarney. It was told to him by his grandfather as follows. One night as Mr. Byrne's grandfather was going through a field which had a rath in it, he saw his own horse, which he was after putting in the house. He wondered how the horse got out and he went to catch the horse to put it in again. Just as he was going to catch the horse, it dissappeared and he heard it galloping away around the field. When he went in he looked in the house and to his surprise he saw his own horse in the house.
