    It is said that there was a monastery in the old Drangan churchyard

    It is said that there was a monastery in the old Drangan churchyard & that there was a tunnel from the monastery over to the castle & from the castle to the cave in Priestown.

  2. About 200 years ago there was a coach going around Ireland called the "Headless Coach". The reason for it to be called the "Headless Coach" was because the man & four horses that were under the Coach were headless. The people of the country were terribly frightened & there was a lot of talk about
