  1. Long ago a woman lived in Gowran & she had a bad tooth & an aspses came on her face. She went to a holy well fasting & every morning she drank a drop of the water & at the third morning she was cured. Mrs Murphy used to cure cancer, the cure was a secret with her. She used to pick weeds & make plaster & put it on the plaster & in nine days it was cured. Soap & sugar mixed together is a cure for cuts.
