    There was a man in Powerstown named Keys. He usually burnt lime in kilns for to manure the land. He carried it on about forty years ago. There is a man named Bill Carrigan and he also burns lime in kilns. He does it every year.
    Pat Darcy Gowran was a very good thatcher. He thatched all the houses in Gowran long ago.
